MHS All-School Musical Presents “Emma, A Pop Musical," March 2-5
The Muskogee High School Fine Arts Department is proud to present the 2023 All-School production of Emma, A Pop Musical March 2-5 at Muskogee Little Theater.
Emma, played by Annalea Miller, is a high school prep student who is determined that she can make anyone’s life better with the perfect love match. Determined, she calls herself a matchmaker after successfully setting up two teachers in a fairytale love story. Emma vows that no one she cares about should go lonely another day, despite the objections of her friend Jeff Knightly (Josh Vienna) to mind her own business.
This Pop Musical and its star-studded cast will take you on a journey of love, loss, and getting back out there.
Bare witness to Emma giving it her all, trying to find love for all of the people in her life that are unattached. Best friend Harriet, (Michelle Jones) has never had a boyfriend before. Will Emma bring this era to an end? Will it be Phillip (Jack Hewitt), the academy golden boy over-achiever, or will it be Martin (Carson Mackey) the boy from the other side of the tracks? Will the school’s most famous singing sensation, Frankie (Jawuan McGill) find true love? Will it be Emma that gets the spark or will the Vending Machine Princess, Jane (Alexandra Locke) catch his eye?
This show is based on Jane Austen’s novel of the same name and features many powerful and iconic, female pop songs like “Man, I Feel Like A Woman”, “Going to the Chapel”, and “Girls Just Want to Have Fun”! A show that will keep your attention from beginning to end; girl power has never looked or sounded so good!
Performances will be held at the Muskogee Little Theater at 311 South 3rd Street on March 2-4 at 7:30 p.m. and March 5 at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $12.
