MPS Invites Community to Attend District Showcase
Muskogee Public Schools will host the 2023 District Showcase on Friday, October 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to present recently renovated and newly built facilities throughout the district. The event will include tours and ribbon cuttings of the Fine Arts addition at Muskogee High School and the fully renovated Sadler Arts Academy. The event will culminate with a State of the District address from MPS Superintendent Dr. Jarod Mendenhall.
“We look forward to showcasing the district to the public and celebrating the milestones we’ve accomplished in recent years,” said Dr. Jarod Mendenhall, Superintendent of Muskogee Public Schools. “This showcase is a great opportunity for members of our community to learn more about the district, while speaking with students and administrators and getting a first look at new facilities.
The brand new Fine Arts addition at Muskogee High School includes state-of-the-art facilities that empower our students to excel in the arts and foster their creative talents. The fully renovated Sadler Arts Academy pays honor to the legacy of Manual Training High School. Updates to classes and educational spaces have enhanced opportunities for our students to be immersed in an environment designed to nurture their artistic and academic growth.
The event is free and open to the public. Lunch and transportation will be provided. Registration is required. Register online or contact Carla Cooper by phone at 918-684-3700 ext.1633 or email at email@example.com.
