November Employees of the Month Recognized

MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Muskogee Public Schools recognized its November Employees of the Month during the regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting Tuesday evening.
Certified Employees of the Month are Rosa Denton of Creek Elementary and Michelle Behrens of Muskogee High School.
Denton, the Elementary Certified Employee of the Month, teaches fifth-grade science and social studies at Creek Elementary. She has served the families of MPS for two-years. Ms. Denton is known for her innovative experiments and creative lessons that inspire her students.
As the Secondary Certified Employee of the Month, Behrens has served MPS for 24 years. An excellent science instructor, Ms. Behrens is mentoring four new science teachers. She is also currently designing an online class for the science department.
Support Employees of the Month are Eddie Yadon, of the Transportation Department, and Bryan Waters, of the District Police Department.
Yadon joined Muskogee Public Schools as a bus driver last year. One of the nominations for Mr. Yadon stated, “His dedication has not gone unnoticed by both students and colleagues. He is always willing to step in wherever he is needed and does it with a smile on his face.”
Waters serves the students and families of MPS as a police officer at Muskogee High School. “Officer Waters always conducts himself in a professional manner and always gives his all each day,” said a nomination for Officer Waters.
