MPS Celebrates Veterans Day
Students and Staff across Muskogee Public Schools celebrated Veterans Day, albeit virtual, on Wednesday.

Students at the 7th & 8th Grade Academy at Ben Franklin led by their leadership class prepared care packages for current military members, created a large banner, recognized staff members who are Veterans and placed flags on campus.

Whittier Elementary created a Wall of Honor with pictures from students and staff of Veterans they know allowing those individuals stories to be told for the whole school.
Students at Sadler Arts Academy and Creek Elementary performed songs for their classmates to commemorate Veterans Day and the service these brave men and women gave to our country for our freedoms. Pershing Elementary held a virtual assembly using Google Meet technology to allow classes to connect with the students performing in the gymnasium to celebrate Veterans.
