Board of Education Approves Changes to 2020-2021 Instructional Calendar
MUSKOGEE, Okla. - Muskogee Public Schools Board of Education approved changes to the remainder of the 2020-2021 instruction calendar during Tuesday’s special meeting.
Highlights of the adjusted calendar include, Parent-Teacher Conferences originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 16 that were canceled will now be made up on Thursday, March 4, 2021 from 4 to 7 p.m. and Tuesday, March 9, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Spring Break will remain on March 15-19.
There are no scheduled virtual days for the remainder of the school year. MPS may utilize virtual instruction for sites due to COVID-19 precautions or days that weather may prevent in-person instruction.
May 3-7 and May 24-26, which were originally scheduled to be virtual, will now be in-person instruction.
The last day of school will be May 26, 2021.
The district has denoted May 27 and 28 as snow make-up days, if needed, should another electrical outage or similar disruption occur that would prevent virtual instruction.
