MUSKOGEE, Okla. - We are proud to announce the first students in MPS history to achieve the Oklahoma Seal of Biliteracy. This prestigious credential honors high school students who have demonstrated advanced proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking in both English and another language, as verified by state-approved assessments.
The Seal of Biliteracy highlights a student’s readiness for college, career, and global citizenship by showcasing their bilingual capabilities. Oklahoma offers two levels of distinction: Gold and Platinum. This year, our five outstanding Muskogee High School seniors include:
Alexis Vallejo Lopez, Platinum Seal of Biliteracy
Efren Corral, Gold Seal of Biliteracy
Verenice Galaviz, Gold Seal of Biliteracy
Alexander Hernandez, Gold Seal of Biliteracy
Nensi Hernandez-Munoz, Gold Seal of Biliteracy
Congratulations to each of you on this remarkable honor!
