This morning, Dr. Mendenhall spent some time at Cherokee Elementary celebrating Read Across America. There is nothing better than seeing our youngest Roughers excited about books and storytelling! 📚✨

Our Early Childhood Center is having so much fun celebrating Read Across America this week! It just so happened to be Wacky Wednesday too, so if you spot some crazy hair, know it’s all part of the fun. A big thank you to our amazing teachers, staff, and families for making learning so much fun! 💚

What a fantastic evening at Trivia Night! 🎉

Such a fun day celebrating Read Across America at Creek Elementary! 📚✨ We loved having Addison Rouse, Miss NSU, read to our students. It’s so special for our kids to meet inspiring leaders from our community and see all the different paths they can take in the future!

So proud of our students from Tony Goetz Elementary who visited the Education Service Center to compete in a Shark Tank–style round of The Amazing Shake!
From confident introductions to challenging questions, these students showcased impressive leadership skills and professionalism.
Even more exciting, these students — along with other Amazing Shake participants — will travel to the Ron Clark Academy in Atlanta, Georgia, for a leadership academy experience that will continue to grow their skills and confidence!

Valentines are arriving at Tony Goetz Elementary from all 50 states! 💌
Ms. Clark’s 2nd graders have been opening cards, reading thoughtful messages, and learning interesting facts about communities across the country. This hands-on project has been a great way to bring geography to life in the classroom.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible for our students!

Our 8th & 9th Grade Academy students spent the week spreading kindness in our community. 💚 From creating Valentine’s cards for senior citizens to assembling toiletry kits and blankets for our unhoused neighbors, they’re learning that small acts of service can make a big difference!

Our 4th grade students at Tony Goetz Elementary did an amazing job performing at their “All You Need Is Love” concert! Thank you to music teacher “Professor” Rappe for leading such a special performance, and to all of our families and staff for supporting our students. We are so proud of their hard work and talent! 💚
