Our students and community came together downtown this morning for our Muskogee Early Childhood Center & Sadler Arts Academy Patriotic Parade as we celebrated our country and honored the veterans and first responders who serve our community.

On September 11, we pause to remember, reflect and stand together in gratitude. We are thankful for the opportunity to come together as a Rougher Family and recognize those who have served and sacrificed for our country. 🇺🇸

WELCOME BACK, ROUGHERS!

Football season is here, and we’re excited to welcome Rougher fans back to the stadium! Before you head out for game night, we want to make sure you have all the information you need for a smooth and enjoyable experience. Here’s what you need to know before you arrive.

TICKET INFORMATION

General admission tickets are available at the gate only. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for students and $5 for seniors. Cash and credit card payments are accepted.

The Rougher Spirit Store in the Rougher Village Arena also offers reserved season tickets, All Sports Passes, Varsity Club memberships and football parking passes. Reserved season tickets are $75 per seat, All Sports Passes are $75 for adults and $35 for students, Varsity Club memberships are $300 per person, and football parking passes are $100.

In-person sales at the Rougher Spirit Store are available Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. Cash and credit card payments are accepted.

PARKING & ENTRANCE DETAILS

Parking is available throughout the Muskogee High School campus on game day. Shuttle services will be available from several locations.

A bus shuttle will run from Dunham’s, with the first pickup beginning at 5:15 p.m. Please see the photo reference in the comments. Shuttles will also be available at Ron Milam Gym and the bottom of A Building. Shuttles will transport fans to the stadium before the game and provide transportation back to those locations following the game.

Please note that there will be no parking available at Bacone or in front of North Point Plaza Shopping Center near Ollie’s.

Parking directly in front of Rougher Village will be reserved for Varsity Club members, parking pass holders, handicap parking, officials, chain crew and press. We’ve heard your feedback regarding handicap parking, and we’ve doubled the number of handicap spaces in front of Rougher Village this year. More than 22 handicap parking spaces will be available.

Visiting team parking will enter through the high school’s main entrance and follow the loop around the high school to the back of the stadium. Athletic parking will be located at G Building and will be reserved for football coaches, administration, visiting administration and game day staff.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. For stadium entrances, the student gate is located behind the press box. The Southwest Main Gate will serve as the main public entrance to the stadium.

CLEAR BAG POLICY & GAME DAY RULES

Each person is permitted to bring one approved bag into the stadium. Approved bags include a 6.5" x 4.5" clutch wallet, with or without a strap; a one-gallon clear plastic storage bag; or a clear tote no larger than 12" x 6" x 12". Anything larger than the approved clear tote size is prohibited. Backpacks are not allowed.

All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the stadium. Seventh-grade students and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Additionally, all school-age spectators must be affiliated with one of the participating schools unless they are accompanied by an adult. Gates will close at the end of halftime. No entry will be permitted after halftime.

Outside food and drinks are not permitted inside the stadium, and oversized stadium chairs are not allowed. There is also no re-entry once you leave the stadium.

Metal detectors will be in use at stadium entrances, and all patrons and carried items are subject to security screening upon entry. Prohibited items must be returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded, and items left at the gates will be discarded. If you see anything suspicious or out of the ordinary, please notify a game administrator.

Thank you for helping us keep game nights safe, organized and enjoyable for everyone. We appreciate your cooperation. Let’s have a great season, Roughers!

2026-2027 SCHOOL DAY SCHEDULE UPDATES

Beginning with the 2026-2027 school year, Muskogee Public Schools will implement updated school day schedules at schools serving kindergarten through fifth grade students to comply with Oklahoma Senate Bill 1481, which was recently signed into law.

The new law requires all kindergarten through fifth grade students to receive at least 40 minutes of daily supervised, unstructured recess. Because recess may no longer count toward required instructional time, many school districts across Oklahoma are adjusting their daily schedules to meet state requirements.

After carefully reviewing our school schedules, Muskogee Public Schools has made minor adjustments to the school day for Elementary (K-5) and Sadler Arts Academy. These changes allow us to remain compliant with state law while continuing to provide students with the required instructional time.

Please review the graphic below for your school's schedule, including door opening, start, and dismissal times.

If you have any questions about your child's school schedule, please contact your school office. Thank you for your continued partnership as we prepare for another successful school year!

We are pleased to announce that Muskogee Public Schools will be participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs called the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) for School Year 2026-2027.

What does this mean for you and your children attending Muskogee Public Schools?

Great news for you and your students! All enrolled students at Muskogee Public Schools are eligible to receive one healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2026-2027 school year. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit a meal application. The district may require a separate form to be completed for additional school funding
purposes. This is NOT a meal application, and eligibility cannot be determined by this form.

If we can be of any further assistance, please contact Child Nutrition Services at (918)684-3765.

This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
