Happy Fourth of July, Rougher Nation! 🇺🇸 Today we reflect on the meaning of freedom and unity. Enjoy the festivities, stay safe, and have fun! Happy Independence Day!

All MPS district offices will be closed July 1-6, 2025. We will reopen Monday, July 7. Enjoy the holiday week and stay safe!

Attention All Students, Parents, and Staff:
From June 28 through July 6, all District Athletic facilities will be off limits to students entering grades 6-12 due to the OSSAA Dead Week. During this time, there can be no contact between Coaches and Students, and no use of District athletic venues for athletic instruction, training, or participation.
Coaches are allowed to perform maintenance tasks such as cleaning storage areas, mowing fields, and office work during this period. However, all athletic facilities will be completely off limits to all 6th-12th grade students to avoid negatively affecting eligibility for both Coaches and Students.
Thank you for your cooperation!

From Muskogee to the NFL! 🏈💚
These Roughers are proof that hard work, dedication, and hometown pride can take you all the way to the top! A special wall has been completed in the Rougher Village weight room to honor the incredible journey and accomplishments of the latest three Muskogee High School alumni who made it to the National Football League.
Stacy McGee – MHS Class of 2008
Former NFL defensive lineman. Played at the University of Oklahoma and was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in 2013. Also played for the Washington Redskins and Carolina Panthers.
Robert Thomas II – MHS Class of 2009
Former NFL defensive lineman. Played at the University of Arkansas, signed with the Washington Redskins in 2014, and spent time with the Dolphins, Bills, and saw key playing time with the New York Giants.
Kamren Curl – MHS Class of 2017
Current NFL safety for the Los Angeles Rams. A standout at the University of Arkansas, Curl was drafted in 2020 by Washington and continues to shine on the field today.
Let this wall serve as inspiration for the next generation of Roughers chasing their dreams!
