Graduation is scheduled to begin promptly at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 22, 2026. Gates open at 5:30 PM.
In the event of heavy rain or lightning in the area, the following protocol will be followed:
• Graduates will move inside Rougher Village Arena.
• Guests should take shelter in their vehicles or in the PAC.
• The ceremony will resume approximately 20 minutes after the final lightning strike.
We will make one attempt to resume the ceremony. If weather causes a second delay, graduation will be rescheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 7:00 PM with gates opening at 5:30 PM for guests.
If the Saturday ceremony is also impacted by weather, the final option will be to hold graduation indoors at Rougher Village Arena on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM with doors opening at 12:30 PM for guests.
Graduates will receive 15 tickets for the outdoor ceremonies scheduled for Friday and Saturday. In the event graduation is moved indoors on Sunday, only 5 of those 15 tickets will be labeled and valid for entry to Rougher Village Arena due to limited seating capacity.
Please note: There is no clear bag policy in effect for graduation.
Graduation will be streamed live on our YouTube channel, Rougher TV. https://www.youtube.com/RougherTV
If a change is necessary, updates will be announced by 5:00 PM on the day of the scheduled ceremony.

Today we’re celebrating our speech-language pathologists and the important role they play in helping students find their voices and build confidence in communication. Through their support with speech, language, and communication skills, they help students grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
Join us in thanking our speech-language pathologists for all they do to support our students each day!

Meet Carter Williamson, a fifth grader at Irving Elementary who leads with kindness. Carter is always willing to help others and step up when something needs to be done, showing responsibility well beyond his years.
He is dependable, caring, and thoughtful in everything he does, and he’s known for the way he looks out for those around him, especially his younger brother. Carter brings a steady, positive presence to his school each day and is a great example of what it means to be a Rougher. 💚
