Nominations for the 2026 Alumni Excellence Awards are now open!

Muskogee Public Schools is proud to recognize outstanding alumni who have made a lasting impact in their careers, communities, and beyond. The Alumni Excellence Awards celebrate individuals whose achievements reflect the values and spirit of Muskogee Public Schools.

Eligible nominees include individuals who graduated from Central High School, Manual Training High School, Muskogee High School, or who attended schools in the district for the majority of their K–12 education.

The 2026 honorees will be recognized in spring 2026.

If you know a deserving individual, we invite you to submit a nomination! Nominations will be accepted through October 31, 2025.

Rougher Hero Award
The Rougher Hero Award recognizes alumni of Muskogee Public Schools who through their ability to assemble, lead, and rally to meet challenges, or individual works of compassion, make a positive impact on individual lives, their communities, and the world.

Young Career Achievement Award
The young career achievement award recognizes alumni of Muskogee Public Schools under the age of 35 who has made significant achievements in their chosen field or profession. This individual represents their alma mater publicly in a way to enhance the reputation of Muskogee Public Schools. 

Service To The Community Award
The service to the community award recognizes alumni of Muskogee Public Schools, who through voluntary or paid work, have significantly contributed to the betterment of their community, state, nation, or the world.

Service To The Schools Award
The service to the school’s award recognizes alumni of Muskogee Public Schools who have demonstrated ongoing dedication to Muskogee Public Schools and honors that dedication by selflessly serving the institution in an extraordinary manner. This individual will have displayed a lifelong commitment to the success of Muskogee Public Schools through volunteerism, advocacy and/or financial support. 

Professional Achievement Award
The professional achievement award recognizes distinguished alumni of Muskogee Public Schools who have a successful career, and who have demonstrated outstanding achievements in their chosen field or profession. This individual represents their alma mater in a positive way. 

Lifetime Achievement Award 
The lifetime Achievement Award is the highest alumni award that recognizes alumni of Muskogee Public Schools. It honors extraordinary accomplishments and a lifetime record of “unique and significant” service to their profession, the schools and demonstrated community engagement. 

Class reunions are organized by alumni, who plan events, maintain contact with former classmates, and coordinate special functions. Typically, former class officers take the lead in organizing these gatherings.

While Muskogee Public Schools does not plan or manage reunions, we are happy to assist alumni with special arrangements, such as providing tours of school facilities. For assistance with activities held on Muskogee Public Schools property, please contact the Communications department.
