Family Resources

District Resources

Muskogee Public Schools offers resources and assistance programs directly within our schools to help meet the immediate needs of our families.

Food Assistance

We are committed to helping ensure our students have access to essential necessities. If any student needs support, please contact your school’s main office or counselor for assistance or more information about these programs.

  • Backpack Programs: All of our Elementary Schools and the Early Childhood Center (ECC) participate in the Backpack Program, which provides students with easy-to-prepare food to take home for weekends and school breaks.

  • On-Campus Food Pantry: Muskogee High School (MHS) operates a dedicated food pantry for MHS students. It is conveniently located in the MHS Library.

  • Irving Community Pantry: Irving Elementary maintains a small outdoor food pantry for use by the community. Please note that this pantry is typically stocked through periodic can drives and may not be a consistently available resource.

Community Resources

The Muskogee area offers a variety of community resources including food pantries, free meals, shelter and housing assistance, medical care, clothing, childcare services, counseling, transportation, and financial support. View the full list in our Muskogee Area Community Resources guide.
