Dr. Jarod Mendenhall, Superintendent of Muskogee Public Schools, said the recognition reflects the commitment to excellence shared throughout the district.
“We are thrilled to see Sadler recognized as the top middle school in Oklahoma, and this honor reflects the dedication of our students, families, and staff,” said Dr. Mendenhall. “This is an incredible moment of pride for Muskogee Public Schools and a testament to the transformative learning happening every day at Sadler.”
Principal Ronia Davison shared that Sadler’s success comes from a blend of rigorous academics, immersive arts experiences, and strong family partnerships.
“At Sadler Arts Academy, we challenge our students to think critically, solve complex problems, and engage deeply with core disciplines,” Davison said. “The arts are not an add-on but a central pillar of the student experience, integrated into daily learning through visual arts, music, drama, and dance. We believe this balance of academics, creativity, and caring culture helps our students grow into thoughtful, capable, and confident young people.”
Sadler’s philosophy emphasizes inquiry-based projects, cross-disciplinary study, and meaningful community engagement, all of which have helped students reach exceptional academic and personal milestones.
