2024 MPS District Showcase Recap! This year’s District Showcase was an amazing opportunity to explore our campuses and see firsthand the incredible programs and facilities that make Muskogee Public Schools special! The day began at the Early Childhood Center at Grant Foreman, where attendees explored the light lab, art studio, playground, and 8-trike path. Next, we visited Muskogee High School’s welding program, featuring their new plasma table, followed by a stop at the FFA program. The tour continued at the Performing Arts Center with a performance by our talented drama team. After lunch, we capped off the day with the Rougher Regiment’s final performance of the year. Thank you to everyone who joined us—we can’t wait to do it again next year!

Thanks to the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC), students at Irving Elementary had the opportunity to experience something special this morning! As part of their reading of Where the Red Fern Grows, they got to see two coonhounds in action and learn how they hunt coons in the wild. What an unforgettable hands-on learning experience! 🐾📚

🚌 National School Bus Safety Week 🚌 Let's work together to keep our students safe! Bus Safety Starts with ME—and that means all of us! Here are some important reminders: Be on time – Arrive at the stop a few minutes early to avoid rushing. Stay alert – Keep a safe distance from the curb and be mindful of traffic. Wait for the signal – Cross the street only when the bus driver signals it’s safe. Stay seated – Remain seated and follow the driver’s instructions while on the bus. Drive carefully – If you’re driving, always stop for buses with flashing lights and watch for children crossing. #TheMuskogeeWay #SchoolBusSafety #SafetyStartsWithMe
